For expectant mothers, prenatal and postnatal care services are provided by UPMC in Bedford County, while deliveries are directed to our regional bi​rthing center​ of excellence at UPMC Altoona. The regional center allows us to continue delivering exceptional quality for women, babies, and families in our community. Women and babies also have local access to maternal fetal medicine and subspecialized pediatric consultations via UPMC's sophisticated telemedicine technology.
