Breast Surgeon

UPMC Hamot, located in Erie, Pa., is seeking a fellowship trained Breast Surgeon to join a well-established comprehensive breast program. Our NAPBC accredited program offers a complete range of services for the community and for the region including a high-risk program, access to genetic counseling and testing, weekly prospective breast conference, and a LiveWell Survivorship program. This person will be joining an established, board-certified surgeon with 20 years' experience, who is dedicated to breast care. Other medical staff includes breast imagers, nurse navigators, and health care professionals intent on providing optimal care to our patients.

  • Expertise in oncoplasty technique is preferred
  • A medical research position would be available for those interested
  • Opportunity for an academic appointment at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC

In addition to UPMC Hamot, this person would have the support of the UPMC Hamot Women's Hospital and The Regional Cancer Center. UPMC Hamot Women's Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 95-bed, level III NICU with four operating rooms devoted to meeting the health care needs of women and infants in the community. The Regional Cancer Center is affiliated with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, one of the largest integrated community networks of cancer physicians and health care specialists in the country.
