The UPMC Hillman Cancer Center is already a global leader in cancer treatment and research, and the new UPMC Hillman Cancer Hospital will provide a critical link, uniting patient care with the science behind it.
The space is specially designed to accommodate the high numbers of ambulatory patients who make frequent visits to UPMC for cancer treatment. The building design also dramatically changes the atmosphere for many patients receiving cancer care, with treatment areas facing a healing green space on the campus.
