UPMC Voice Center Presents ‘Sing Out,’ a Vocal Health Workshop

WHAT:  The UPMC Voice Center presents “Sing Out,” a workshop for choral and worship singers. Register by Oct. 18 at under “Upcoming Events.” A $20 fee includes the workshop and lunch.
The workshop will offer the following:
• Speaking and singing voice techniques
• Hands on training
• Tour the Voice Center and meet the staff
• Case study testimonial
• Worship singing time
WHY: Worship leaders and vocalists in Pittsburgh and the surrounding areas are invited to this custom-designed educational/training workshop to receive information on the anatomy and physiology of voice production, essential vocal wellness guidelines and techniques to ensure a healthy speaking and singing voice.
