Leaders in LGBTQ+ Health Care Equality

The Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation recently recognized Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC and Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC (WPIC) for LGBTQ+ health care equality. They are among a small group of hospitals nationwide who excel inthe following areas:

  • Foundational elements of LGBTQ+ patient-centered care
  • LGBTQ+ patient services and support
  • LGBTQ+ patient and community engagement
  • Employee benefits and policies

Our goal is to provide this quality of care at all UPMC locations, and want all patients and families to know they are welcome and supported.
