UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex
Opened August 2015, the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is not only a comprehensive outpatient facility for UPMC Sports Medicine,but is also the primary training home for the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins®.
This first-of-its-kind facility features 185,000 square feet of total space, with 54,000 square feet dedicated to UPMC Sports Medicine’s orthopaedic, primary care, physical therapy, concussion, imaging, and sports performance services.

The UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is situated alongside Interstate 79 in Cranberry Township, Pa., with easy access from the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 76). The center serves the areas of northern Allegheny County, southern Butler County, and the surrounding Pittsburgh region.
This facility is not just a building, but a destination for athletes of all ages and skill levels seeking cutting-edge injury prevention, treatment, and sports performance services from experts in sports medicine.
More than 50 UPMC experts at the Lemiex Sports Complex, including Vonda Wright, MD, Dharmesh Vyas, MD, PhD, and Micky Collins, PhD, will offer specialized techniques and services to repair and rehabilitate injuries, and return every type of athlete to the top of their game.

Pittsburgh Penguins Training Facility
Named after Pittsburgh Penguins owner and legend Mario Lemieux, the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex is the team's new practice and training home. It features two full-size ice rinks, training and locker rooms, a video viewing area, executive offices, and much more.
In addition, a common area is available to the public and includes a1,500square-foothockey skills training area, open skating availability, eight community locker rooms, two private event spaces, an on-site cafe', retail shops,and much more.
