Heads UP Pittsburgh: Baseline Concussion Testing Program
Heads UP Pittsburgh provides neurocognitive baseline testing for athletes — ages 7 and older (including adults) — for a small $25 fee.
The Heads UP program is a joint effort between:
- UPMC Sports Medicine
- The Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation
- The Community College of Allegheny County (CCAC)
- The Community College of Beaver County (CCBC)
- Midwestern Intermediate Unit 4
- The Centers for Disease Control

Registrations are on a first-come-first-serve basis. We strongly urge you to register your athlete as early as possible to avoid missing your chance for the test.
Prior to your testing appointment, please complete and bring the UPMC Sports Medicine Demographic and Background Information form (PDF).
