Lifestyle of a Transplant Fellow

Located in the southwest corner of Pennsylvania, Pittsburgh has something for everyone – historic landmarks, ethnic neighborhoods, vibrant nightlife, beautiful countryside, and of course, the three rivers.

Arts and Culture

Pittsburgh is a pulsating city with many cultural organizations and activities. The arts are celebrated in many ways, from dance to music to visual art. Science is also very important to our city, with zoos and museums that provide fun and education for all ages.

Nightlife and Fun

The opportunities for extracurricular activities abound in Pittsburgh and Allegheny County. From amusement parks to gaming, dining and shopping, there are many things to keep one busy when the time for work is over.

Sports

Pittsburgh is often called the "City of Champions" because of our successful professional sports franchises. With 13 combined major league championships in football, hockey, and baseball, Pittsburgh provides plenty of excitement for any sports fan.
