At the UPMC Sino-Nasal Disorders and Allergy Center, our goal is to improve your quality of life with the right sino-nasal diagnosis and treatment plan.

Sino-nasal doctors within the division are experts at diagnosing and treating people with sinus, nasal, and allergy symptoms.

Sino-Conditions We Treat

We treat sinusitis, as well as other problems including:

  • Allergic rhinitis
  • Asthma
  • Headaches
  • Nasal blockage
  • Obstructive sleep apnea
  • Voice problems

Allergy and Sinus Symptoms Testing and Treatment

The center offers many sino-nasal conditions diagnostic tests and services for symptoms of allergies including allergy skin testing.

Allergy treatments include:

  • Allergy shots
  • Allergy drops
  • Allergy conditions education
  • Food allergy nutritional counseling

We treat sinus and nasal disorders with both medications and — if needed — surgery.

A Team Approach to Sino-Nasal and Allergy Care

To ensure a comprehensive approach to care — for even the most complex sino-nasal disorders — the center's staff may consult with specialists in other fields such as:

  • Asthma/pulmonology
  • Immunology
  • Neurology
  • Sleep medicine

If you require lung or voice consults, we work closely with the Comprehensive Lung Center and the Voice Center.
