​Eligibility and Curriculum for the Neurology Residency


Residents are selected on the basis of academic performance, interviews, and recommendations.

Applicants must meet one of the following qualifications to be eligible for an ACGME accredited program:

  • Graduated from a medical school in the U.S. or Canada accredited by the LCME
  • Graduated from a college of osteopathic medicine in the U.S. accredited by the AOA
  • Graduated from a medical school outside the U.S. and either holds valid ECFMG certificate or has completed 5th Pathway Program

Curriculum: Neurology Residency Program
Listed below is the curriculum for the UPMC Hamot Neurology Residency program. Osteopathic principles and practices will be integrated into each clinical rotation.
