Fertility Preservation Program |
Options for preserving fertility before undergoing treatments for other illness, such as cancer, that may render you infertile. Services for patients, ranging from prepuberty to adulthood, include:
- semen cryopreservation
- embryo cryopreservation
- embryo cryopreservation using donor sperm
- testicular biopsies
- ovarian tissue freezing and oocyte freezing to preserve ovarian function (in coordination with the Institutional Review Board at Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC)
