Dr. Joseph Strangarity of Denver Joins UPMC

DENVER, Pa. — Joseph Strangarity, MD, has joined UPMC effective March 1, under the name UPMC Denver Primary Care. Dr. Joseph Strangarity remains the sole provider of the practice. The practice is located at 320 School Rd., Denver, Pa.

"I'm pleased to take my commitment to patient-focused care to the next level," said Dr. Strangarity. "As part of the UPMC provider network, patients will now have access to additional services through advanced technology, increased comprehensive care for chronic and acute illnesses, additional specialists, and access to health education and programs.".

Patients will continue to receive individual and compassionate care at UPMC Denver Primary Care. The office is open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays. Medical results for all UPMC Denver Primary Care patients will now be available on the UPMC Central PA Portal. To register for the portal, visit UPMC.com/CentralPaPortal and request an activation code. The UPMC Central PA Portal allows patients to schedule and see upcoming appointments, view their health summary and upcoming tests, view lab and imaging test results, and request prescription renewals. Patients will also be able to request to see a UPMC doctor online with a video visit for non-urgent conditions.
