My name is Joe Carter, and I grew up in Northern Virginia (Fairfax, VA). I chose to study biology at Christopher Newport University (CNU), which inherently allowed me to enjoy the perks of local beach life. I had the opportunity to play football at CNU, where I started as the team’s punter. I then attended Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine - Virginia (VCOM-VA) in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Blacksburg, VA. I love beach-life, fishing, golfing, cooking, football, and going on adventures with my wife and our rescue dog, Rambo.

Eric Sugarman, DO

I'm Eric Sugarman, the oldest of three siblings, raised in Livingston, NJ. I became dedicated to soccer at a young age and eventually played out my career in college. My siblings shared my passion for soccer and followed in suit! I pursued my higher education at Brown University, where I studied Business, Economics, and Entrepreneurship.

After completing my undergraduate studies, I took on the challenge of fulfilling premedical course requirements at the University of Pennsylvania, paving the way for my journey into PCOM. In my spare time, you'll often find me cycling, running, or hiking with my wife and our dog. Academically, I have a keen interest in exercise physiology, and I enjoy delving deeper into this field to expand my knowledge and enhance my own fitness regimen.

Jaron Clark, DO

I am from Bozeman, MT. Growing up here allowed me to cultivate my love for the outdoors. I spent a lot of time skiing, dirt biking, and hiking. I eventually moved to Idaho for my undergraduate degree, and I met my wife. I attended the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. My wife and I have a two-year-old daughter. In my spare time I can be found doing anything outdoors and spending time with my family

Christian Hasson, DO

My name is Christian Hasson, born and raised here in Lititz. I was introduced to Anesthesiology when I was just 13 years old and have wanted to become an Anesthesiologist ever since. While I am thrilled to help our community from a healthcare standpoint and truly enjoy working in the hospital, I also love the outdoors. In my spare time, you’ll find me riding motorcycles, fishing, golfing or volunteering with my church.

Sabrina Do, DO

Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, my spirit for adventure brought me out to Pennsylvania to experience the east coast! Before residency, I attended the University of Washington in Seattle, WA for my undergraduate studies, then onto PNWU-COM for medical school. I love exploring the outdoors through hiking or skiing and experiencing new cultures through travel and food. I picked UPMC Lititz because of the autonomy and early integration into anesthesia the program offers. Despite being so far from home, the close-knit culture throughout the hospital reassured me that I would be in good hands for the next 4 years! Lancaster and Lititz are also very charming towns to live in with lots of beauty and great food. It’s also a quick Amtrak ride away from NYC, Philadelphia, or Washington DC!

Jason Mitton, DO

I grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah, where I developed a love for the outdoors and sports. I earned my bachelor’s degree in business economics from Southern Utah University and worked in sales before pursuing medicine. I attended the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, where I discovered my passion for anesthesiology. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife and our three-year-old son, playing sports, hiking, and exploring the outdoors.

Carey Hung, DO

Hi, I'm Carey. I grew up in Hillsborough, New Jersey and received my undergraduate degree at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. After graduating college, I stayed in the northern Virginia area for a few years before I got accepted to VCOM-VA. In my free time, I love exploring new places to eat, hiking and relaxing at home with my husband and our cat. We like the Lititz and Lancaster area because there's always something to do- like farmers markets, outdoor concerts, fairs and festivals, and we've been able to make daytrips to Philly, NYC, and DC!

Zachary Junge, DO

I'm Zach and I'm from Monmouth county NJ. I completed my undergraduate degree in exercise science at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and went to medical school at PCOM in Philadelphia. I love anything that keeps me active in my free time (long runs, swimming, basketball, golf, weightlifting, disc golf, etc). All in all, I love people and value my time with patients as well as coworkers. I am excited to deliver quality care to the people of the central PA area and join the team at UPMC Lititz.

Sarah Sidor, DO

Sarah has lived in a number of places, including Fort Collins, CO; Scottsdale, AZ; Tampa, FL; Chicago, IL; and now Lititz, PA! When she's not working, you can find her goofing off with her husband and daughter down at the shore. Her hobbies include incorporating Star Wars lines into her usual speech, taking advantage of wine and hors d'oeuvres at art galleries, and people-watching at fashion shows with her husband.

Mitchell Watts, DO

My name is Mitchell Watts, and I am originally from Millville, Pennsylvania. I attended Penn State University for undergrad before earning my medical degree from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. I was drawn to anesthesiology because of its mix of physiology, procedures, and the opportunity to care for patients in high-stakes moments. Outside of the hospital, I enjoy golfing, exercising, watching Philly sports, going to the beach, and spending time with my fiancée.
