Arun Jeyabalan MD, MS

Dr. Jeyabalan received her medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed her residency at the University of California, San Diego. She completed her Maternal-Fetal Medicine Fellowship in 2003 at the University of Pittsburgh, UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital and has been on the academic faculty since that time. 

 

In addition to being an active clinician, her research interests include vascular adaptations to pregnancy and hypertensive and renal disorders including preeclampsia.  She was selected and served on a 16-member American College of Obstetricians and Gynecology Task Force on Hypertension in Pregnancy in 2011. She currently is involved in the Global Pregnancy Collaboration and working on projects related to the use of clinical and bio-markers for risk stratification of preeclampsia.
