Ms. Rodakowski is an occupational therapist with expertise in community living for vulnerable adults and their caregivers. Her research seeks to slow the progression of disability attributed to early changes in cognition and caregiving. Her work generates the evidence required to support new, effective models of community-focused care that are responsive to public health needs and evolving federal policies.

Ms. Rodakowksi received her undergraduate degree in kinesiology from the University of Minnesota, and her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy and Doctor of Occupational Therapy degrees through the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her certificate and Master of Science in clinical research with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, where she also conducted her post-doctoral training. Ms. Rodakowski joined Pitt’s Department of Occupational Therapy faculty in 2014.
