Tracey Conti, M.D.

A native of Pittsburgh, Dr. Conti joined the UPMC Latterman Family Health Center in McKeesport as full-time faculty in 2005, where she has worked as director of research and scholarly projects, medical director and associate program director. Dr. Conti was appointed the chair of Family Medicine in 2021.

 

Dr. Conti’s work focuses on addressing health disparities, delivering health care to underserved communities and women’s health. Dr. Conti is an advocate of patient empowerment through education and the development of strong patient-physician partnerships as a means of optimizing individual, family and community health, wellness and health care outcomes.

 

Dr. Conti has been named a Pittsburgh Top Doctor, a Pittsburgh Top Black Doctor and was named the 2019 Gateway Medical Society Physician of the Year. She also was recognized for her leadership in receiving the Mon Valley Women of Achievement award and the UPMC Physician Excellence Award – Excellence in Leadership.

 

She also has taught as an associate professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and as an adjunct clinical associate professor at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

 

Dr. Conti received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Prairie View A&M University in 1992 and her medical degree from Temple University. She completed her residency and fellowship at the University of Maryland.
