WHAT: UPMC McKeesport will host a free foot health education discussion. An orthopaedic surgeon will discuss how to prevent foot complications, and share the latest treatments for common problems, including bunions, plantar fasciitis, ankle pain and arthritis. Parking validation will be provided.
Free blood pressure screenings also will be included.

WHY: 75 percent of all Americans experience some type of foot problem during their lifetime. Weight gain, poor shoe choices and medical conditions like diabetes can all contribute to foot and ankle distress.
