PITTSBURGH – Nearly 400 UPMC physicians have been recognized as "Top Doctors" across more than 60 different specialties. The annually published Pittsburgh Magazine “Top Doctors” list is a selection of the region’s top physicians.
UPMC doctors represent nearly half of the physicians on the 2023 listing. The Top Doctors list is compiled by Castle Connolly and is entirely merit-based.
“This powerful recognition of our physicians across various specialties reflects the outstanding quality of UPMC medical staff and the ongoing commitment, in partnership with the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, to provide highest quality care with utmost compassion in an equitable manner to meet the diverse needs of all the communities we serve,” said Joon S. Lee, M.D., executive vice president, UPMC, and president, UPMC Physician Services.
