UPDATE as of 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018: 

 

Yesterday, the 70-year-old male patient was discharged from UPMC. The family has kindly requested that media respect their privacy as they grieve and heal. The 40-year-old male police officer remains in stable condition.

UPDATE as of 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 16, 2018:

 

The 70-year-old male patient is now receiving care at a UPMC inpatient rehabilitation unit. The 40-year-old male police officer remains in stable condition. 


UPDATE as of 10:45 a.m., Friday, Nov. 2, 2018:

 

At UPMC Presbyterian, the 70-year-old male patient and the 40-year-old male police officer have been moved out of intensive care to regular patient rooms and are both now in stable condition. The 61-year-old female patient remains in stable condition.

UPDATE as of 9 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2018:


CORRECTION:
At UPMC Presbyterian, a 55-year-old male officer has been discharged; a 70-year-old male is in critical condition; a 61-year-old female is in stable condition; and a 40-year-old male officer is in stable condition.

At UPMC Presbyterian, a 70-year-old male remains in critical condition; a 61-year-old female is in stable condition; and a 55-year-old male officer is in stable condition.

UPDATE as of 6:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018:

 

At UPMC Presbyterian, A 61-year-old female is in stable condition; a 70-year-old male is in critical condition; a 55-year-old male officer is in stable condition; and a 40-year-old male officer is in critical condition. A 27-year-old male officer was released from UPMC Mercy.
 
The thoughts of all of our team members are with the family and friends of those affected by the tragic shooting.

UPDATE: 8:45 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018:


At UPMC Presbyterian, a 61-year-old female is in stable condition; a 70-year-old male is in critical condition; a 55-year-old male officer is in stable condition; and a 40-year-old male officer is in critical condition. One additional officer was treated and released yesterday from UPMC Presbyterian. At UPMC Mercy, a 27-year-old male officer is in stable condition.

We grieve alongside those who have lost their loved ones and offer our heartfelt support to those recovering and their families.


UPDATE: 5:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018:


A 61-year-old female is in stable condition. A 70-year-old male is in critical condition. A 55-year-old male officer is in stable condition. A 40-year-old male SWAT officer is in critical condition. A 27-year-old male officer is in stable condition. One additional officer was treated and released. 

Our hearts go out to the victims who have tragically lost their lives today at the Tree of Life Synagogue, as well as to the families and communities who grieve their loss, due to this senseless act of violence.


UPDATE: 1:20 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018:


At this time, UPMC Presbyterian is treating four patients from the Tree of Life synagogue shooting. Three victims are in surgery and one other is stable, awaiting surgery. Another patient at UPMC Presbyterian was treated and released. 

UPMC Mercy is treating a patient who currently is in surgery. We will provide additional updates as information becomes available.


As of 11:45 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 27, 2018:


UPMC is treating multiple patients at UPMC Presbyterian related to the incident at the Tree of Life Synagogue in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood. This is a rapidly changing situation and we will update this information as it becomes available. Please follow @UPMCnews on Twitter for updates.
