WHAT: At a special event in honor of Dr. Freddie Fu’s unwavering dedication, commitment and tireless efforts to advance and improve care in sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery over more than 30 years, the newly renovated medical building on the campus of the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex will officially be dedicated as the UPMC Freddie Fu Sports Medicine Center.
Pittsburgh sports broadcasting legend and the voice of Pitt Panthers football, Bill Hillgrove, will serve as master of ceremonies for the event.
