WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – UPMC’s Renew You program recently hosted its second annual Pretty in Pink event during which 150 women from the community gathered to focus on their health, wellbeing, and connect with others.

“Pretty in Pink has grown and improved since its first year. We’ve adapted the evening to really focus on what our registrants wanted to learn more about,” said Kari Kurtz, director, Community Relations, UPMC in North Central Pa. “In addition to meeting with various UPMC service lines and vendors, this year’s panel of speakers featured physicians from OB/GYN, breast health, and primary care, and it was a great opportunity for local women to have their health questions answered in a relaxed and supportive environment.”

UPMC’s Renew You is a free membership program open to everyone ages 18 through 54 designed to motivate and inspire positive changes in their lives. This program emphasizes total well-being by supporting a healthy mind, body, and spirit through engaging educational events.
