UPMC Williamsport and Orthopaedic Surgeons Recognized for Outstanding Hip and Knee Joint Replacement Patient Outcomes

WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — UPMC Health Plan has recognized three regional orthopaedic surgeons and UPMC Williamsport on its Hip and Knee Joint Replacement Surgery Center of Excellence Designated Facilities and Physicians list. Recognized physicians and surgical facilities have low complication rates, low hospital readmissions, and overall high-quality outcome scores for their patients after joint replacement surgery.
