Finding Providers in the Portal

Over the next few months, providers will continue to be available to you for messaging, scheduling, and other care needs. However, not all providers are moving to the new UPMC Patient Portal at the same time. Providers not yet in the UPMC Patient Portal may still be using MyUPMC. If you have a MyUPMC account, you can check that portal to find your provider. If you're having trouble finding a specific provider, visit the UPMC Provider Directory to search for your provider.

If you have more questions about your providers, see the Appointments FAQs.

Understand How the Changes Impact Your Existing Portal

As of Sept. 27, 2025, you can use the new portal to message your providers, schedule appointments, and pay new bills. Select the portal you currently use to learn more about any changes:

Do You Receive Care in Multiple Regions?

If you currently use MyUPMC or MyCHP and receive care in Southwest Pa., you must temporarily use more than one portal to access your providers. This is because not all UPMC providers are transitioning to the new UPMC Patient Portal at the same time.

  • If you see providers in Central Pa., Northwest Pa., Maryland, or New York, you must use the new UPMC Patient Portal to manage appointments and send messages.
  • If you see providers in Southwest Pa., you must use MyUPMC or MyCHP.

By Spring 2026, all UPMC providers will be available on the new portal, and you’ll be able to manage your care in one place.
