Portal Updates In Southwest Pa., including Pittsburgh

On October 3, 2026, the current MyUPMC portal will update with a fresh new look and expanded features. All your providers and recent health information will still be available, plus any that were previously only available in other UPMC portals.


Here's what to expect:

The MyUPMC app will update automatically or guide you with steps to update it through the app store—you won't have to download a new app.

The MyUPMC website at myupmc.upmc.com will update automatically.

You will be able use your current MyUPMC username and password to log in.

You may be required to update your password to meet UPMC's new security standards.
identity 
To keep your information safe, you will be asked to confirm your identity by entering a code sent to your phone or email.

If you do not have a portal account, visit MyUPMC and choose “Sign Up” to get started.

If You Use MyCHP

On October 3, 2026, your MyCHP information will move to MyUPMC, and the MyCHP portal will no longer be available.


Message your care team. 
Existing MyCHP features such as messaging UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh providers and viewing UPMC Children’s test results will be available in MyUPMC.
Schedule and manage appointments. 
In the new MyUPMC, you will be able to schedule directly with your UPMC Children’s providers.
Care for your family. 
If you already have a MyUPMC account, your MyCHP proxy status will transfer over with the update. If you do not have a MyUPMC account, you can sign up on or after October 3 and establish new proxy access for the person you previously accessed in MyCHP.

You will continue to have access to the UPMC Children’s app and its features.
