Infant and Child Care at the Department of Family Medicine for Women, Infant and Children Programs

UPMC Content 3

Women Infant and Children (WIC) programs are designed to help women and their young children get the nutrition they need. One of the requirements of the WIC program is that your child will need to be seen and followed by a doctor. In addition, there are a number of forms that must be filled out and updated regularly .

Our care team can see and evaluate your child, and complete the required forms for the WIC program.

If you are eligible for WIC and need a doctor, contact one of our locations to schedule an appointment.

We also have on site social workers that can help with navigating the complex network of programs like WIC.
