UPMC Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Health Center
The UPMC Cosmetic Surgery and Skin Health Center is the most comprehensive dermatologic laser facility in the region and is unique in academic dermatology. The center offers a full spectrum of cosmetic services and procedures. Medi-spa services using highly advanced skin care products, facials, lasers, peels, fillers, and more are offered in both of the Center's Wexford and Shadyside locations. Cosmetic surgery procedures are offered in the Wexford location.
The Contact and Occupational Dermatitis Center
The Contact and Occupational Dermatitis Center (CODC) is dedicated to determining the cause of persistent dermatitis, or eczema. This disorder typically manifests as an itchy rash that does not go away with simple treatments. Research has shown that many of these rashes are due to substances that come into contact with the skin (contact dermatitis). When the patient comes into contact with a substance at work that is causing a rash, this is called occupational contact dermatitis.
The CODC has a comprehensive panel of substances with which patients are tested to determine if one of the substances is the cause of their rash. If a cause can be found, specific recommendations can be made for avoiding the substance. The testing is typically performed over three office visits that occur over a one-week period.
Cutaneous Oncology Center
Under the direction of the Department of Dermatology, the Cutaneous Oncology Center at Hillman Cancer Center offers patient education, screening, diagnosis, follow up, and treatment options for all types of skin cancers. The center also serves as a center for clinical trials for cutaneous oncology therapies.
Dermatopathology
Dermatopathologists at the UPMC Department of Dermatology identify changes in the skin and work with your doctor to develop the best course of treatment. Dermatopathology specializes in the optimal diagnosis of dermatological coniditions, whether that diagnosis stems from an overall consultation or the results of a skin biopsy.

The Skin Cancer Program, part of the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center provides screening, diagnosis, management, patient education, follow-up and treatment options for all types of skin cancers, from simple to complex.
