The UPMC Central PA Portal app allows you to be more involved in your care while you are in the hospital. When you access the UPMC Central PA Portal app while in the hospital, a “Your Hospital Stay” section appears. Under the “Your Hospital Stay” section, you can:

You are eligible to use the UPMC Central PA Portal if you are 18 years of age or older or are the parent or legal guardian of a minor patient. In limited circumstances, a minor may also be eligible to use the portal. Certain restrictions to information may apply.
You will receive an activation code during your office visit or hospital admittance. This code will enable you to log in to the UPMC Central PA Portal and create your own username and password. Click here to register your account by selecting “I Have a Code.”
If you did not receive an activation code, select “I Don’t Have a Code.” Then, simply enter your first and last name, address, date of birth, gender, the last four digits of your Social Security number, and email address.
With proxy access, you can access your child’s or loved one’s information and stay connected with their care team using your UPMC Central PA Portal account. By becoming your loved one’s proxy, you can communicate with their UPMC doctors, view medical records and test results, manage appointments, access video visits, and more through your own patient portal account.
You can recover your username or password from the login page or by opening the mobile app, and then selecting the “Forgot Username?” or “Forgot Password?” option as needed.
