The Division of Pediatric General and Thoracic Surgery at UPMC provides comprehensive care to infants and children of all ages via UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh.

The Minimally Invasive and Metabolic Surgery Division treats the highest number of bariatric cases within the UPMC health system and conducts extensive research and teaching activities.

The Division of Vascular Surgery delivers high-quality patient care and provides consultation services, both outpatient and inpatient endovascular interventions, as well as surgical procedures for the full range of vascular-related diseases and conditions.

The Division of Surgical Oncology provides state-of-the-art surgical care to the patient with cancer and includes16 surgical oncologists who have diverse expertise in all types of cancers.

As one of the leading programs in the country for the treatment of endocrine disease, the Division of Endocrine Surgical Oncology offers expert, comprehensive surgical care for diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, and the endocrine pancreas.

The Division of GI Surgical Oncology comprises faculty surgeons who have dedicated their careers to the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal diseases and cancers. The division’s goal is to provide comprehensive, state-of-the-art care for patients with cancers of the distal esophagus, stomach, duodenum, small intestine, and large intestine.

The HPB Division’s surgical oncologists specialize in treating patients with liver or pancreatic cancer, as well as benign liver diseases. Patients are seen in one of several UPMC Liver Cancer Center clinics throughout the region
