Amenities at UPMC Kane

An ATM is available across from the surgical waiting room on the ground floor. Bank fees may apply.

UPMC Kane recognizes the importance of spiritual needs in patient care and family support. Local pastors and chaplains provide on-call care 24/7 for crisis situations, emergency needs, and end-of-life and terminal care situations that may arise in any of our patient care units.

If you wish to talk with a pastor or chaplain, please let our staff know. Our chapel is available 24/7 and is located on the first floor, a few doors away from the intensive care unit (ICU). You may leave a prayer request in the chapel.

Volunteer chaplains also provide care and services to staff via annual “Blessing of the Hands” and special services throughout the year.

Cafeteria

Our cafeteria, located on the ground floor, offers a variety of foods seven days a week.

Hours of operation are:

• Breakfast — 8 to 10 a.m.
• Lunch — 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Supper — 4:30 to 6 p.m.

Snack and pop machines are located by the emergency department entrance on the ground floor. Our dietary team fills the food machine daily, and it is available 24/7 in our dining room. Coffee is available in the dining room until 6 p.m.

Fresh flowers are available by calling My Flower Shoppe at 814-837-6600.

Gardens are located to the right of the emergency department and the hospital's outpatient entrance. Patients and visitors are welcome to enjoy the serenity and beauty of this space. There are benches, picnic tables, and a gazebo.

In 2006, the Gardens were dedicated to those who have committed their lives to the healing arts.
