The Lost and Found is maintained by our Security Services. It keeps records of all found items in our facility. Please report any missing items to your nursing staff or security immediately.
A catering associate will visit you at least once a day (usually between breakfast and lunch) to obtain your meal orders for upcoming meals. Printed menus are available for you to keep during your stay and highlight the specials for all meals. The menu also lists foods that are “Always Available” to create the best meal that meets your needs and taste buds. We are happy to make recommendations and will follow the diet prescribed by your doctor. Your catering associate also can be reached by telephone if he or she misses you in person.
Meal delivery is at predetermined times, and your catering associate will discuss these times with you. If you miss a meal, we will make every effort to make sure your needs are met.
Your family and friends may order a meal for you or multiple meals in advance with your catering associate. They also may order meals using the same menu and a guest voucher, which guarantees all the food arrives together. Guest vouchers may be bought from the cashier in the cafeteria during normal hours of operation.
If you have any general questions about meal service prior to your stay, please contact our call center, UPMC Phone Line, at 717-231-8900 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. or pn_corpcontactcenter@upmc.edu and one of our customer service representatives would be happy to assist you.
