Dr. Juhl’s research focuses on the effects of diseases and other conditions on the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs, branches of pharmacology that focus on drug metabolism and their effects on the body.

His honors include being named a fellow of the American Pharmacists Association in the Academy of Pharmaceutical Research and Science.

Dr. Juhl has authored or co-authored more than 70 manuscripts, abstracts and books. He has been quoted in the Milwaukee Journal, the New York Times and the Chicago Tribune.

He received his bachelor’s degree in 1972, master’s degree in 1974 and doctorate in 1976, all from the University of Iowa.
