WHAT: UPMC St. Margaret offers a free monthly grief support group facilitated by a bereavement counselor and a trained volunteer from Family Hospice & Palliative Care. Support and professional help will be provided to those coping with grief.
Free parking and refreshments will be provided to participants.
Registration is required and can be made by calling the Family Hospice & Palliative Care Bereavement Department at 412-572-8829.
WHY: Many circumstances can lead people to experience grief — feelings of sadness or loss. While grief is a normal part of life, it can feel overwhelming and seeking professional help can be beneficial to those going through a difficult period.
WHO: Adults ages 18+ looking for support and assistance. The event will be ADA accessible.
WHEN: 10 to 11:30 a.m., the first Tuesday of every month
