WHAT: UPMC East presents discussion about the different types, causes and symptoms of strokes — plus the latest on stroke prevention and medical treatment. Blood pressure screenings will be available.

WHY: Stroke happens fast — and can a¬ffect anyone, at any age. According to the National Stroke Association, it’s a leading cause of death and disability in America, yet up to 80 percent of all strokes are preventable.
