WHAT: UPMC Passavant in conjunction with the UPMC Palliative and Supportive Institute will offer a bereavement support group for six consecutive weeks. Each participant will receive a bereavement workbook. It is recommended that participants join the group three months after loss. This event is free and open to the public. Registration is required by Thursday, March 28. To register, call 412-748-5899.
WHY: UPMC understands the challenges their patients and family members face when dealing with the loss of a loved one. Attendees listen and offer support to each other. All information will be kept confidential.
WHEN: 4:30 to 6 p.m., Tuesdays, April 2 through May 7
WHERE: UPMC Hillman Cancer Center at UPMC Passavant conference room, 9100 Babcock Blvd., Pittsburgh, 15237.
Upon arrival, enter through the CANCER CENTER doors. Take the elevator to ground floor. When the elevator doors open, you will see the conference room directly in front of you (room #G585).
