YORK, Pa. – UPMC announced the appointment of Tracy Miller, M.H.A., B.S.N., R.N., N.E.-B.C., as the new chief nursing officer of UPMC Memorial, effective April 19.
“Tracy brings more than 20 years of nursing leadership experience to UPMC and is skilled in accessing, planning and strategizing for organizational growth and empowering extraordinary teams to provide the best patient experience,” said Michael Gaskins, president, UPMC Memorial and UPMC Hanover.
Miller received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from York College of Pennsylvania and a master’s degree in nursing from University of Phoenix.
Miller has held several leadership roles throughout her career, beginning as a nurse manager of an inpatient psych unit, transitioning to an open-heart intensive care unit, and then most recently serving as director of nursing for Penn Medicine - Lancaster General Health.
“UPMC Memorial is an outstanding place to receive care, and it’s my true honor to lead our nursing teams and care services in the community where I was born and raised,” said Miller. “I look forward to collaborating with our physicians and teams to continually advance our care and services.”
