WHAT: UPMC Passavant and the Passavant Hospital Foundation are hosting a one-day drop-off event open to the public.
Items to be collected include gently used:
- Bedding and bath supplies
- Clothing, accessories and shoes
- General household items
- Kitchen items
- Medical supplies
WHY: The event will divert materials from local landfills—protecting the environment from harmful waste and pollution by finding ways to repurpose materials while benefiting those in need.
WHO: The event will benefit local nonprofits including: Brother’s Brother Foundation, North Hills Community Outreach, Treasure House Fashion, Free Store Wilkinsburg, Goodwill and Off the Floor Pittsburgh.
**All partners reserve the right to refuse unusable materials.
WHEN: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6
WHERE: UPMC Passavant Green Lot, located behind the medical building, 9100 Babcock Blvd., Pittsburgh, 15237.
