WHAT: UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital celebrates the grand opening of UPMC Magee-Womens Specialty Services at the UPMC Lemieux Sports Complex with a virtual ribbon cutting. The expansion has created a one-stop-shop that provides women across Pittsburgh’s northern communities access to leading UPMC Magee clinicians, the latest technology and personalized care through all stages of their lives.
In addition to annual women’s well visits, prenatal care, fertility treatments, OB/GYN services and imaging, advanced breast cancer diagnostics and care, breast imaging, and care for women in perimenopause and menopause, prominent UPMC Magee experts can help women through every step of their health care journey, close to home.
UPMC Lemieux is located directly off Interstate 79 in Cranberry, with additional easy access from the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 76). The convenience of this location has already attracted patients from many other areas of western Pennsylvania to seek care from UPMC Magee experts in the northern communities.
UPMC Magee-Womens Specialty Services partners closely with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center, the region’s only National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center for women’s cancer diagnostics and prevention. It also works in coordination with expert surgeons and teams at UPMC Passavant in Cranberry and McCandless townships and outpatient centers located throughout Pittsburgh’s north communities.
In addition to women’s health services, UPMC Children’s Express Care has an after-hours clinic inside the complex.
