WHAT: UPMC St. Margaret will host “Staying Healthy for the Holidays” to help diabetes patients practice healthy eating during the holiday season. A registered dietician will share new recipes to try, discuss how to make small changes to reduce calories and carbs and explain which alcoholic and non -alcoholic beverages can help you to be successful in managing your blood sugar level
and weight over the holidays and in the New Year.
The Program is free and open to the public. Parking will be validated. Free light refreshments will be provided.

WHY: Living with diabetes can be much more when managed properly. This class will provide helpful tips for healthy eating during the holidays.
