PITTSBURGH – UPMC will host a special hiring event for a wide variety of positions, both clinical and non-clinical, at UPMC Jameson, 1211 Wilmington Ave. in New Castle, on Wednesday, Dec. 18, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The event is an opportunity for prospective employees to explore career opportunities at all UPMC locations. Attendees will learn from UPMC talent recruiters, meet directly with hiring managers, and tour UPMC Jameson.

“Whether you are an experienced nurse, a non-clinical professional, or anything in between, we want to help you find a place on our team,” said Eric McIntosh, vice president, Human Resources, UPMC. “We have positions available at our area UPMC hospitals, senior living facilities, and outpatient locations.”

UPMC employees enjoy a robust Total Rewards package with perks and benefits built for professional growth and personal needs, including tuition assistance, top-ranked health and welfare benefits and generous paid time off.

“Our incredible team is growing,” said Rob Jackson, president, UPMC Jameson and UPMC Horizon. “We invite our friends and neighbors from Ellwood City to come and explore our career opportunities and learn more about why UPMC is a great place to work.”

UPMC Jameson in New Castle, UPMC Horizon in Farrell and Greenville and UPMC Passavant in Cranberry Township and McCandless are full-service hospitals within close proximity to Ellwood City. UPMC recently announced UPMC Passavant is advancing as its specialty care hub for northern Pittsburgh communities, and UPMC has invested approximately $80 million over the past three years to enhance local health services through a regional approach at UPMC Jameson and UPMC Horizon.

“We continue to elevate health care access and capabilities and invest in our communities to expand UPMC’s high-quality, world-class services provided locally,” said Jackson. “UPMC is committed, as a top employer and provider of choice, to delivering advanced care and services for every community in our region.”
