WHAT: Magee-Womens Hospital of UPMC is celebrating babies born during the Christmas holiday by transforming the nursery into the North Pole. Babies will be tucked into hand-knitted blankets and their tiny heads will be topped with handmade Santa and reindeer caps. The blankets and caps are made by the Magee Volunteer Knitters, a group of local women who gather each month in the Magee lobby to knit, socialize and give back to the community.
