WHAT: UPMC McKeesport will host a heart-health discussion with free health screenings. A cardiologist will discuss how simple lifestyle changes can improve your overall heart health, as well as the signs, symptoms and latest treatments for heart disease. He’ll also discuss the new guidelines for high blood pressure and how to get your numbers down. Free parking is available and hot breakfast will be served.
Screenings include:
• Blood Pressure
• Cholesterol (includes LDL, HDL, triglycerides)*
• Blood Sugar
• Stroke Education
• Ask the Expert
*9-hour fast recommended for cholesterol screenings.
