UPMC St. Margaret Expert to Help You ‘Protect Your Power to Choose’
WHAT: Physician will guide attendees through the key medical terms and options that will be encountered when completing an advanced directive and end of life issues—including CPR, ventilators, tube feeding and blood transfusions—and answer any questions so you can complete your directive with confidence. Parking is free.
WHY: In the event of a serious injury or illness, an advance directive is vital to protect your wishes for medical treatment and end-of-life care. It also takes the burden of making such decisions from those who love you most.
