INSPIRE for Advanced Caregiving (Inspiring New Solutions and Providing Individualized Resources and Education) Series

Thursdays, June 18th-July 9th from 12:30 to 1:30pm

The INSPIRE program is designed to help caregivers who are facing a variety of challenges in caring for older adults in the home setting. This will include the many issues caregivers may face when providing care.

This free four-week program will include topics on:

  • Learn options to make your best decisions
  • Dealing with behavioral issues or concerns
  • Resolving issues with insomnia and depression
  • Private meeting with each participant for individualized resources
  • Maximizing optimal physical and emotional health

All classes and the individualized planning session are free of charge.

Medicare 101

Tuesday, July 22nd from 1 - 2pm
Virtual program

This program reviews Medicare basics including Part A, B, C and D. We will also review the stages of prescription drug coverage, the Medicare advantage enrollment timeline and some special assistance programs based on income.

This program can provide 1.0 contact hours for nursing (CNE), social work continuing education or a certificate of attendance (social work CEUs will be $15 if interested). *Certified Case Managers have been applied for with the Commission for Case Manager Certification.
