The Electrophysiology department at the UPMC Heart and Vascular Institute at UPMC in central Pa. provides comprehensive treatment of cardiac rhythm disorders. Our electrophysiology team performs more than 300 catheter ablations and 600 cardiac device implantations per year. Our program in Central Pennsylvania is involved in several large clinical trials providing access to cutting edge treatment to patients.
