The UPMC Children's Ball is a kid-focused fundraising event held annually to support a vital community program. Kids and kids-at-heart can sing, dance, and interact with special guests—including some real, live animals! There will be fun for the whole family, including strolling performers, delicious food, entertainment, a balloon artist, caricature drawings, and more!
The health and safety of our community is a top priority. So, in an abundance of caution, we’ve decided to postpone the 2020 UPMC Children’s Ball originally scheduled for March 28. Please check back at a later date for more updates. If you have any questions in the meantime, please call 412-647-0616.
This year’s event will once again benefit the Matilda H. Theiss Childhood Development Center, the cornerstone of early childhood mental health services at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital.. Matilda H. Theiss offers a variety of programs to promote the health and well-being of pediatric clients and their families in our region, including the early childhood mental health and trauma program, the therapeutic nursery and preschool, interactive mobile parent and child treatment, the outpatient program, and the COOL Zone: Children Overcoming Obstacles and Limits.
