Support from corporations and foundations is vital to the growth and success of UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh's medical and health science research and care.
Our Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) team welcomes the opportunity to work with organizations that share our vision and assist in facilitating support for clinicians and researchers at UPMC and the University of Pittsburgh’s six health sciences schools.
The Corporate Relations team is responsible for requesting, securing, and documenting philanthropic donations from industry. We seek to promote mutually beneficial, long-term relationships, and can assist you in building strategic partnerships with UPMC.
As a leading academic health center, we pledge to work with industry in a transparent and socially beneficial manner to jointly pursue our shared goal of advancing science and improving the health and welfare of our society. Corporations have supported a variety of initiatives at UPMC, including funds for fellowship and resident programs, community outreach activities, patient education, and in-kind gifts of equipment.

Requests for support from UPMC should be directed to UPMCsupport@pmhsf.org.
The Foundation Relations Office identifies and solicits professionally-staffed foundations, both local and national, to support the medical and health science research, programs, and priorities. The team assists faculty, clinicians, and program directors to write and submit competitive proposals that fit within the mission and funding opportunities offered by charitable foundations.
