The annual Health Discovery Leadership Circle Donor Recognition luncheon honors members’ outstanding dedication and generosity to the vital programs and work of the physicians and affiliated researchers at UPMC. Event attendees received an insider’s look into the future of medicine.
The 2019 Health Discovery Leadership Circle Recognition Luncheon was held Friday, Nov. 1 at noon at the Herberman Conference Center in the Cancer Pavilion of Shadyside Hospital.
There were three different live demos of exciting, innovative technology, with an emphasis on interactivity. The 2019 demos included:
Each station presented the opportunity to interface with the operators and their technology, ask questions and learn about exciting new developments in their respective fields.
Vice Chancellor Evan Facher, PhD, MBA, from the University of Pittsburgh Innovation Institute gave opening remarks and introduced the demonstrations.
