APPreciation

UPMC recognizes its over 3,600 Advanced Practice Providers (APP) with a week-long celebration in the fall that we call “APPreciation Week”. During the celebration UPMC, through the Office of Advanced Practice Providers sponsors programs, activities and gift/prize giveaways. Some of the programs include:

• The announcement of nine Excellence Awards to recognize outstanding APP practice
• CME Lectures and Events
• Daily Raffles for prizes
• Each year, UPMC gives a gift to each APP to celebrate APPreciation Week.
• During APPreciation Week, the advanced practice workforce gives back to the community through charitable fundraising in partnership with the United Way.
