No. All didactic work is done online, but the clinical component must be done at one of our UPMC facilities and usually requires between 12 to 24 hours a week, depending on the chosen modality and length of program.
Clinical site capacity, which varies for each site, determines the number of accepted students. In addition to clinical site capacity, acceptance is determined by an interview, references, and an ARRT license in good standing.
Clinical schedules will vary based on the chosen clinical site. Schedules are arranged between faculty and staff to accommodate an effective learning environment while allowing an individual to remain working, if necessary.
Shift hours will depend upon the chosen modality and the clinical site.
