
Dr. Don Yealy
Dr. Yealy is a clinician, scientist, and leader in medicine; he is Chair and Distinguished Professor of Emergency Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh. He also is the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Vice President at UPMC, the largest integrated academic finance and health care delivery system in the country. He is an expert in many acute care topics including decision support, pneumonia and sepsis, heart failure and pulmonary embolism, and early care before hospital arrival for those with respiratory failure.
Dr. Yealy is Editor of Annals of Emergency Medicine, edited four scientific textbooks in multiple editions each, and serves as a referee for 25 scientific journals. He has authored over 250 scientific manuscripts, garnered over $40m of federal funding, and served on multiple NIH study sections and organized medicine panels and bodies.
Dr. Yealy is a member of the National Academy of Medicine (formerly IOM) of the National Academies of Science. Dr. Yealy received the highest research recognition by both the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) and the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine (SAEM), the highest educational award by ACEP, the leadership award for SAEM, and the Distinguished Service Award from AACEM. He was bestowed the Ralph C. Wilde Award for excellence in care and leadership by the Allegheny County Medical Society, and the Alumni Achievement Award of Women’s Medical College/MCP, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from Drexel University College of Medicine.

Dr. Anne Marie Lennon
Anne Marie Lennon, MD, PhD, is the Jack D. Myers Professor and Chair of the Department of Medicine at the University of Pittsburgh/UPMC. Dr. Lennon’s clinical and research interests are focused on pre-cancerous lesions of the pancreas, early cancer detection and prevention. Dr. Lennon is a member of the American Society for Clinical Investigation, and a fellow of the American Society of Gastroenterology, American Gastrointestinal Association, and American College of Gastroenterology.

Mary Beth Jenkins
Mary Beth Jenkins serves as the executive vice president of UPMC, president of the UPMC Insurance Services Division, and president and CEO of UPMC Health Plan. Under her leadership, UPMC Health Plan is uniquely positioned in the health care marketplace to provide quality, choice, access, service, and value to its members, being the second largest provider-sponsored insurer in the nation—serving over 4 million members and recognized among the top-quality plans nationwide. Ms. Jenkins has held multiple progressive roles at UPMC Health Plan. For over 25 years, she has driven operational efficiencies that help the company maintain low administrative costs and high customer satisfaction. Ms. Jenkins’ innovative contributions within UPMC’s successful integrated health care delivery system have ensured that the Health Plan continues to provide affordable coverage while maintaining exceptional member satisfaction and high-quality health care.
Ms. Jenkins earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Slippery Rock University, a Master of Business Administration from Duquesne University, and is also Six Sigma Green Belt certified. Mary Beth Jenkins is nationally recognized as an expert in service excellence, demonstrating a personal commitment to community service. Ms. Jenkins has served on the boards of several nonprofit organizations and privately held companies.
